Coach Driver – Inverness
📍 Location: Inverness Depot, 1 Seafield Road, IV1 1SG
We are looking for qualified PCV licence holders to join as Coach Drivers in Inverness. This full-time, permanent role offers weekly earnings of around £630, with opportunities for overtime, giving a typical annual salary of approximately £32,760. During training the pay rate is £15.00 per hour, with overtime paid at £17.00 per hour once qualified. Shifts are worked on a rota basis across early, mid, and late duties, with occasional overnight work.
As a Coach Driver, you will be responsible for operating a modern fleet of high-specification coaches safely and professionally on both scheduled services and private hire routes. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist with luggage handling, answer passenger queries, and ensure a smooth, safe, and comfortable journey for all travellers. This role requires patience, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm on longer-distance journeys.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid PCV licence and Tachograph Card, and have the legal right to work in the UK. A courteous driving style, professional attitude, and genuine commitment to high-quality customer service are essential. You should also be flexible, reliable, and able to work as part of a supportive coach team.
