Cold Forging Technician
Location: Aylesford
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is proudly investing in state-of-the-art British manufacturing, with a newly established, automated production facility located in Aylesford. Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (1-hour unpaid break) – 40 hours per week
Key responsibilities:
* Schedule, load and monitor production runs on the fastener cell
* Perform tool setting/changeover for each production run
* Conduct first-line maintenance and address initial technical issues
* Maintain stock levels for lubricants, tooling and materials
* Ensure equipment uptime and efficiency through preventative care
* Achieve production KPIs and quality targets
* Work within health & safety and LEAN principles
* Contribute to team meetings (SQDIP) and improvement projects
* Maintain a clean, organised working environment
* Provide support to others in-house production tasks when required
About you:
* You’ll have experience in toolmaking or CNC machining and possess working knowledge of cold forging machinery, such as headers, thread rollers and induction heating systems.
* You’ll take pride in your technical ability, be driven to uphold the highest quality standards and enjoy working collaboratively in a production-focused team environment.
