Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Join a Precision Engineering Leader
We’re seeking a skilled Rolling Mill Setter Operator to join a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered bimetal strip materials used in fuse and switching applications around the world. Based in Redditch, you’ll work with advanced cold-cladding processes to produce high-performance Silver-Copper and Silver-Brass materials rolled to ultra-fine thicknesses — as low as 75 microns.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate cold or hot rolling mills
Measure and control material thickness using precision tools
Monitor and adjust machinery during production to ensure optimal performance
Perform in-process quality checks and maintain accurate records
Assist with material handling and routine equipment maintenance
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality compliance
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience operating rolling mills in a manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with tight tolerances
Skilled in using micrometres and other precision measuring tools
Familiarity with non-ferrous metals such as Silver, Copper, and Brass (preferred)
A team-oriented, dependable individual with a strong safety mindset
