Job Description
We are currently looking for a Cold Stores Operative to join our team at the Glasshoughton site. Reporting to the Cold Store Coordinators, you will need to be hardworking and motivated with the ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team.
As a cold store operative, you must be able to work in an extremely cold environment (varying from 1 to -22 degrees), adequate PPE will be supplied.
Location: Castleford, WF10 5HX
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
Main Responsibilities
Ensure storage areas and chillers and kept tidy at all times.
Ensure all items moved, shipped or received are logged in the correct manner
Ensure all loads are picked with maximum efficiency
Ensure all loads are loaded
Load / unload goods from the truck
Check all loads for damaged or missing items FLT Licence is desirable
