SALFORD (Hybrid – 3 Days Office | 2 Days Home)

Our Salford-based client is looking for a compassionate and customer-focused Collections Advisor to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. With hybrid working from day one, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home two days a week while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Collections Advisor, you will:

  * Handle inbound calls from customers, providing support and agreeing tailored repayment solutions.

  * Conduct income and expenditure assessments to identify the most appropriate outcome for each customer.

  * Deliver a professional, empathetic service while achieving individual and team objectives.

  * Accurately update customer records and maintain detailed case notes.

  * Work in line with FCA regulations, internal procedures and service level agreements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the Collections Advisor role, you'll have:

  * Previous experience in a telephone-based collections role, including conducting income and expenditure assessments and setting up payment arrangements.

  * Experience working with mortgage products.

  * A background in a contact centre or other telephone-based customer service environment.

  * Excellent communication skills with the confidence to manage sensitive conversations professionally and empathetically.

  * Experience working to targets and KPIs.

  * Confidence operating within a regulated environment.
