Job Description

Collections Specialist
Salary: £25,300
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, fully onsite. 
Role Overview:
Responsible for managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and reducing outstanding debt through proactive communication and resolution of queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contact customers to agree payment solutions.
* Handle inbound queries and resolve disputes promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of communications and actions.
* Prioritise workload to meet KPIs and service levels.
* Escalate complex cases when necessary.
* Support customers in financial difficulty with appropriate solutions.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Experience in outbound telephony or financial services.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and prioritise tasks.
* Problem-solving skills and knowledge of debt management best practices.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a telephony-based collections role.
