Commercial Account Handler/Executive
£35,000 - £45,000 (with flex for the right candidate) | Aylesbury | Permanent
We’re representing a respected independent insurance broker in Aylesbury who are looking for a talented and knowledgeable commercial insurance professional to take ownership of a portfolio of SME to mid-sized clients across a variety of sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in servicing, renewals, re-broking, and maintaining long-standing client relationships. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in developing new business from existing clients and referrals, though this isn’t a cold sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day queries
Re-marketing policies and negotiating with insurers for the best terms
Advising clients on suitable cover across a range of commercial lines including property, liability, motor, and packages
Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
Building and maintaining trusted relationships with both clients and underwritersThe ideal candidate:
Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler or Executive within the insurance industry
Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial products
Confident in client communication and insurer negotiation
Organised, professional, and driven to deliver excellent client outcomes
Cert CII qualified or working towards (desirable but not essential)Package:
Competitive salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience – flexible for the right candidate
