The Role
As a Commercial Insurance Account Handler, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations. Key Responsibilities
Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business enquiries
Understand client risk exposures and tailor insurance solutions accordingly
Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities and potential gaps in cover
Maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms and handling queries
Ensure records are accurate and compliant with company standards
Support clients through claims processes, referring to internal specialists when needed
Manage aged debtors and advise on premium finance options where appropriateIdeal Candidate Profile
Previous experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Handler role (1–2+ years preferred)
Confident managing a portfolio of commercial clients
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and processes
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and client service skills
Progress towards CII qualifications is advantageous but not essentialWhat’s on Offer
