US Commercial Accountant (12 to 15 Fixed Term Contract – Mat Cover)
South Manchester (Hybrid Working – 3 Days Office Based)
Salary – £70,000 - £75,000 (Plus 15% Bonus)
Axon Moore have a fantastic opportunity available for a qualified Commercial Accountant. You will be working for a business who have experienced rapid double-digit growth over the last couple of years and have no plans to stop anytime soon!!
The successful commercial accountant will be a high profile Finance Business partner helping to drive and support the business into its next stages of significant growth. The role will require impressive strategic, analytical and reporting skills to support all functions, with specific focus on the Commercial and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Key business partner for the US General Manager, US Commercial team and wider cross-functional business to support and drive significant growth
Reporting and analysis of business performance and profitability, identifying trends and opportunities
Proactively challenge key stakeholders within the business to drive growth of both Net Sales and Gross Margin
Support the building and maintenance of improved financial models and reports to allow greater strategic insight and decision support
Development of KPI’s and dashboards
Support the weekly flash, forecasting and budgeting cycles
Ownership of the US inputs into the monthly management accounts pack
Working closely with IT to validate and support the transition of reports into Power BI
Support the Head of Commercial Finance, FD and wider Finance team with ad hoc analysis where necessary
Super user of business financial systems.

Due to this role being maternity cover my client doesn't need someone to start till the 1st of December but wants to get this process sorted ASAP so that a substantial handover can be put into place.
