Job Description

Join a growing construction business supporting commercial, project and compliance functions. This varied role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and play a key part in the successful delivery of construction projects.

The Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Commercial & Business Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our business. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider team, you will provide administrative support across commercial, operational, compliance and project functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within a successful and growing construction company.

Key Responsibilities

  * Managing calls, emails and general enquiries

  * Maintaining company and project documentation

  * Supporting document control and project administration

  * Assisting with applications for payment and invoice processing

  * Raising purchase orders and maintaining supplier records

  * Updating project, valuation and compliance trackers

  * Maintaining training, accreditation and health & safety records

  * Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee administration

  * Liaising professionally with clients, suppliers and site teams

  * Providing general administrative support to senior management

About You

You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential:

  * Previous administration experience

  * Strong organisational and communication skills

  * Excellent attention to detail

  * Proficient in Microsoft Office

  * Professional and proactive approach

Desirable:

  * Construction industry experience

  * Knowledge of commercial or project administration

  * Experience working with contractors or subcontractors

  * Familiarity with construction software and compliance systems
