Commercial Analyst
Thurso
12 Month Contract
£40 ph (Umbrella)
ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Commercial Analyst on a 12-month basis.
The Commercial Analyst will deliver the procurement of goods and services that provide the best overall value for money while meeting legal requirements.
What you'll be doing:
Execute the commercial, procurement and supply chain strategies
Support the Project teams through the procurement of goods and services for low value/risk requirements
Support the Project teams through the sanctioning and validation process
Support the preparation of contract strategies
Support the delivery of low value/risk contracts in support of project deliverables
Support the selection and award process of suitably qualified and experienced contractors in line with the EU Procurement Directives
Produce high quality reporting and control metrics for all commercial activities
Input procurement information into the appropriate databases
Perform the responsibilities of Management Appointments relevant to the post
About you:
Commercial experience is desirable but not essential
Public sector procurement experience
Ability to deliver to deadlines whilst maintaining quality of output
Relevant administration experience
Good organisational and planning skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
