Job Description

Job Title: Commercial and Leaseholder Co-ordinator Location: Seaham Salary: £15.66 per hour PAYE Contract Type: Temporary, on going, full time hours, immediate start. About the Role: We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Commercial and Leaseholder Co-ordinator to work for a social housing company in their property team. This is a key role, supporting the smooth management of land and leasehold matters across our property portfolio. You will be the first point of contact for a range of leasehold and commercial property queries, and play a central role in managing transactions, enquiries, and disputes. Key Responsibilities: Handle land sale enquiries and coordinate responses in a timely and professional manner. Process Right to Buy (RTB) and Right to Acquire (RTA) applications, including preparation of plans, cost floor calculations, and arranging valuations. Support lease negotiations and liaise with legal advisors as necessary. Coordinate all aspects of leasehold administration, including maintaining accurate records. Manage boundary disputes and enquiries, ensuring clear communication and resolution. Respond to a variety of general customer enquiries, delivering excellent customer service. Update internal systems and databases accurately and efficiently. Raise invoices and process payments in line with financial procedures. Assist in compiling legal packs for property sales, working closely with solicitors and internal teams. Address and respond to service charge enquiries from leaseholders and stakeholders. About You: Experience in a similar leasehold or property coordination role is essential. Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Confident communicator with the ability to handle complex and sensitive matters. Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively. Familiarity with property law, leases, and residential sales is desirable but not essential.Interested?
