Commercial Asbestos Surveyor

Up to £36,000 + Benefits

Nottingham, East Midlands

We’re working with a well-established, UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy that’s continuing to grow and is now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in Nottingham and across the wider East Midlands region.

This Asbestos Surveyor role focuses on delivering commercial and industrial asbestos surveys, including Management Surveys and Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys, across a varied portfolio of sites throughout the region.

It’s a great opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor with BOHS P402 who enjoys working on larger sites and wants long-term stability, progression and support from an established consultancy.

Asbestos Surveyor Responsibilities:

  * 

    Carrying out commercial asbestos surveys and industrial asbestos surveys

  * 

    Completing Management Surveys and R&D asbestos surveys

  * 

    Collecting bulk samples and producing clear, compliant asbestos survey reports

  * 

    Ensuring all asbestos surveying work complies with current legislation and UKAS standards

  * 

    Liaising with clients and site contacts

Asbestos Surveyor Requirements:

  * 

    BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent

  * 

    Minimum of two years’ experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

  * 

    Strong background in commercial asbestos surveying

  * 

    Confident using Microsoft Office and digital asbestos reporting systems

  * 

    Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands

  * 

    Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
