Commercial Building Surveyor - Northwest
About the Role:
I am working with a local authority in the Northwest, seeking an experienced Commercial Building Surveyor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a variety of building surveying services across a portfolio of commercial properties owned and managed by the local authority. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance of these assets. Fully commercial, none residential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveys and inspections of commercial buildings and facilities.
Provide advice on building regulations, repairs, and improvements.
Prepare specifications, schedules of works, and manage tenders.
Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.Key Requirements:
Experience in commercial building surveying within the public or private sector.
Strong knowledge of building regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
