Job Title: Commercial Business Manager – Infrastructure
Morgan Jones is working confidentially on behalf of a well‑established, family‑run infrastructure and utilities business seeking a senior commercial leader to take ownership of a key division.
This is a high‑impact role for someone who treats the business as their own, understands the realities of infrastructure delivery, and can translate operational activity into strong commercial performance.
The role
You will lead the commercial function for a growing infrastructure arm of the business, owning the P&L and working closely with operational leaders across utilities, civils and reinstatement services.
Key responsibilities
  * Full ownership of commercial performance, forecasting and cost control
  * Embedding commercial insight into day‑to‑day operational delivery
  * Supporting pricing, frameworks, bids and commercial negotiations
  * Building strong, trusted client relationships
  * Providing clear analysis and insight to senior leadership to support strategic decisions
About you
  * Senior commercial, commercial finance or operational leadership experience
  * Background in utilities, civils, infrastructure or related sectors
  * Proven P&L ownership with strong operational understanding
  * Confidently influencing directors, engineers and delivery teams
  * Forward‑thinking and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment
