Location: Greater Boston Area (Billerica, MA)
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 per year
Contract Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Commercial Development Manager to join a growing commercial team focused on cutting-edge battery technology for electric vehicles (EV) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions and help shape the future of mobility.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a sales pipeline for EV and UAV programs, including forecasting and stage reviews.
* Build strong relationships through proactive communication, onsite visits, and structured meetings.
* Lead responses to RFIs and RFQs, including pricing, deal structure, and delivery terms.
* Oversee sample and demo allocations, ensuring smooth conversion to purchase orders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain) to align on specifications and customer requirements.
* Maintain detailed account plans, track progress, and report through regular business reviews.
* Provide customer feedback to influence product roadmaps and performance expectations.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 1–4 years of B2B sales experience (SDR, AE, or junior manager), ideally in EV, aerospace, industrial hardware, or deep tech sectors.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in account planning and RFI/RFQ responses.
* Ability to understand technical requirements and build pricing/margin models.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness to travel and host customers onsite.
