Salary: £110,000 – £124,999 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent | Hybrid Working Available
We’re seeking a Commercial Director to lead commercial strategy across regulated, high-value projects in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. This senior leadership role offers strategic influence, commercial ownership, and the opportunity to shape delivery in GMP-compliant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive commercial performance across pharma construction and engineering projects
* Lead contract negotiation, cost control, and risk management
* Support tender processes and ensure compliance with sector standards
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to optimise profitability and delivery
* Mentor commercial teams and embed best practices
Candidate Profile:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
* RICS Chartered with NEC contract experience
* Proven leadership in pharmaceutical or life sciences construction
* Strong in cost analysis, subcontract management, and stakeholder engagement
* Experience with cleanroom, laboratory, or manufacturing facility builds
