Job Description
Interim Commercial Estates Surveyor - Local Authority - East of England - Hybrid Working
Panoramic Associates are supporting a Local Authority in the East of England with the appointment of an Interim Commercial Estates Surveyor.
In this role, you'll be a key part of the Estates team, driving the Council's strategic property goals through disposals, lettings, and acquisitions, while advising on high-value and complex estate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to use their property expertise in a meaningful public sector context.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and review property transactions including disposals, acquisitions, lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, and valuations.
Maximise income and long-term returns on the council's commercial estate.
Provide specialist advice to support wider development initiatives and service transformation projects.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to align property strategies with organisational objectives.
Represent the council in property negotiations and contribute to estates and tactical planning.Essential Experience:
Minimum three years' experience in commercial/residential estate management and valuation.
Proven knowledge of property law, valuation techniques, planning regulations, and estate strategy.
Strong stakeholder management, report writing, and communication skills.
RICS membership or equivalent professional qualification.Contract Details:
Initial 6 month contract with potential to extend
