Commercial Gas Engineer – Central Belt (4-Day Week)

📍 Location: Central Belt (East or West Scotland)
💰 Salary: Up to £43,000
🕒 Hours: 34 hours per week | 4-day working week | Paid for 5 days
📄 Type: Permanent

FM Search & Select are working with a leading Facilities Management provider who are looking to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer to cover sites across the Central Belt of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer looking for a better work-life balance, offering a 4-day working week while working across a varied portfolio of commercial contracts.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  * 

    Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems

  * 

    Servicing and maintaining commercial boilers and heating systems

  * 

    Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across plant and heating equipment

  * 

    Ensuring all work is completed in line with gas safety and health & safety regulations

  * 

    Completing service reports and compliance documentation

  * 

    Providing a high level of service to clients across multiple sites

Requirements

  * 

    Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within FM or commercial environments

  * 

    Valid commercial gas qualifications (CCN1, COCN1, CIGA1, etc.)

  * 

    Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  * 

    Full UK driving licence
