Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: South London, Kent, Crawley, M23 Corridor (up to 1.5 hours from home base)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Job Type: Permanent
Working Area: South London, Kent, Canterbury, Portsmouth, Southampton
Holiday: 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
We’re hiring an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team!
Based ideally along the M23 corridor or surrounding areas such as Crawley, Croydon, Brixton, or South London, you’ll cover a patch primarily focused on South London and Kent, with some travel as far as Canterbury, Portsmouth, and Southampton — all within 1.5 hours of your home location.
Key Responsibilities:

Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas appliances and systems
*
Carry out testing and purging in commercial environments
*
Respond to breakdowns and complete planned preventative maintenance
*
Work in a variety of settings including schools, healthcare, and commercial premises
*
Support occasional wider building services work depending on your other trade skills
Requirements:
*
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial gas engineering (preferred)
*
Must hold current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications, including testing and purging
*
Domestic gas qualifications also required
*
Additional trade skills (e.g. plumbing, electrical) desirable
*
FGAS certification is a bonus
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Willingness to travel up to 1.5 hours from home
Training Support:
We are open to considering engineers with domestic gas experience and additional trade skills who are looking to progress into commercial gas. In such cases, we can support further qualifications, though the starting salary would be adjusted accordingly.
