Job Description
Are you a qualified and experienced Mobile Multi-skilled Commercial Gas Engineer with a passion for mechanical and electrical building services?
This position will included installation work and also regular working away from home – predominantly in the Midlands.
The Role
As a Mobile Multi-skilled Commercial Gas Engineer, you will:
* Deliver planned and reactive maintenance in education and healthcare buildings.
* Work within a large mechanical and electrical multi-skilled mobile service team.
* Operate both independently and as part of a team.
* Carry out work in plant rooms and on a variety of building services plant and systems.
Requirements
* Experience in the mechanical and electrical building services engineering industry (commercial buildings).
* ACS gas qualifications and Gas Safe registration.
* LPG and/or F-Gas qualifications (preferred).
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing and Heating.
* Electrical qualifications (preferred) – e.g., NICEIC certification, 18th Edition.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.
* Ability to read and interpret building services drawings.
* Basic IT skills.
* Willingness to occasionally work away from home (with advance notice and all expenses paid).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
* Successful Enhanced DBS check (post-employment).
