What You'll Do:
Industrial Gas Engineer responsibilities will include:
* Provide on-site maintenance and support for a wide range of combustion equipment and plant.
* Respond promptly to customer callouts, participating in an on-call rotation.
* Troubleshoot and repair combustion, boiler, and process plant machinery.
* Install, commission, and service equipment.
* Conduct testing and monitoring of plant performance.
* Generate regular customer reports and feedback.
* Propose upgrades and suggest energy-saving measures.
* Foster strong customer relationships.
* Contribute valuable feedback on products.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Travel locally, with occasional overnight stays.
What You'll Need:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, ideally with some exposure to industrial equipment
* Gas qualifications such as COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1 (or willingness to train)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Enthusiasm to expand your skills into industrial gas engineering through ongoing training
