Commercial Gas Engineer - Manchester
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Company Vehicle + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Location: Based within 1.5 hours of Manchester – covering the North West
Role Type: Mobile – Service, Maintenance, Install & Repair
Sector: Temporary Boiler & Chiller Hire

Cloud Recruitment are working with a specialist hire company that provides temporary boiler and chiller solutions across the UK. With a strong reputation for service and reliability, they support clients across industrial, commercial, and facilities sectors, ensuring critical heating and cooling systems stay operational all year round.
The Role
This is a mobile Commercial Gas Engineer position, covering the North West region. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of duties including:
*
Service, maintenance, and repair of temporary boiler plant and associated systems
*
Installation and commissioning of boiler and chiller units
*
Fault finding and diagnostics on commercial gas systems
*
Occasional call-out work and reactive breakdowns
*
Working both independently and alongside a supportive technical team
This opportunity is open to both newly qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineers, with full training and development provided for the right person.
What You’ll Need
*
Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 / CODNCO1)
*
Experience with commercial heating systems, ideally mobile or plant-room based
*
Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
*
A full UK driving licence
