Location: North London
We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Heat Network Engineer to join our team. As a key player in ensuring our heat networks meet regulation requirements and customer expectations, you'll bring together internal and external stakeholders to operate our heat networks efficiently. With a strong focus on day-to-day maintenance, metering, and billing, you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional service and building upon our reputation within the industry.
Required Skills
Strong IT skills, including inputting and uploading data accurately
Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications (minimum six months prior to renewal)
Experience and knowledge of heating control systems (Trend and equivalent)
Previous experience in a service and maintenance environment
Experience of building services engineering within district and community heating or large plant rooms/energy centres
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret and utilise heat meter data
Contractor management skills, with the ability to challenge and motivateNice to Have Skills
Experience of writing reports and collecting relevant data to present in a clear manner
CIBSE CP1 qualified or willing to work towards
Experience of working with heat metering equipment and PAYG devices
Familiarity with HIU services and maintenancePreferred Education and Experience
Relevant degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, physics)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar roleOther Requirements
Full, clean driving license and access to a vehicle
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (if applicable)
