Job Description

Are you an experienced Commercial Manager, Commercial Lead or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Power, Renewables or Energy Infrastructure? We are recruiting for a senior commercial professional to lead the commercial function of a growing Power & Renewables Business Unit, covering projects across Ireland and the UK. This is not simply a project QS position. You'll have Business Unit-level responsibility, helping shape commercial strategy, manage risk, drive profitability and support continued growth across a significant portfolio of energy and infrastructure projects. The Role You'll take senior commercial ownership across the full project lifecycle, including: Commercial strategy and Business Unit performance Tendering, bid strategy and opportunity assessment Contract negotiation and management Revenue, margin and cashflow performance Cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting Commercial and contractual risk management Client and framework relationship management Procurement and supply chain commercial management Project audits and commercial governance Variations, claims and final accounts Commercial process improvement Leadership and development of the commercial team We're Looking For We're looking for a commercially driven senior professional with: Significant experience in commercial management or QS leadership A strong background in Power, Energy, Renewables or Infrastructure Excellent contract and commercial management knowledge Proven experience in tendering and commercial negotiations Strong understanding of risk, cost control, margin and cashflow Experience managing commercial teams and developing people Strong client and stakeholder management skills Excellent analytical and negotiation abilities A strategic, proactive and commercially focused approach Willingness to travel regularly across Ireland and the UKExperience across BESS, grid infrastructure, power transmission & distribution, solar, wind or other renewable energy projects would be highly advantageous
