We have an opportunity to join a well-known Construction Contractor based in Inverness as their Commercial Manager. You will be joining a company with an impressive history who have worked on a wide range of civils project for high profile clients. They continue to win contracts across the country and are looking for an individual with a strong commercial awareness who can drive and lead the commercial function.
Responsibilities:
* Lead commercial management of civils projects.
* Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
* Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
* Review contracts terms.
* Support pricing and tender activity.
* Monitors project performance and margins.
* Work closely with management teams.
* Produce clear reports for senior management.
Essential:
* Demonstrable experience working in a Commercial Management or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
* Strong Civils background.
* Contract administration background.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Commercially astute.
* Ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
