Job Description

V7 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our client- a leading specialist in full building envelope solutions. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to lead projects and mentor a developing commercial team within a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager within construction
Strong contractual knowledge including JCT and NEC contracts
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent client management, negotiation and reporting skills
Quantity Surveying qualification (HNC/HND or Degree level preferred)
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
Experience within façades, glazing, cladding or main contracting advantageous
Key Duties

Manage commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects
Prepare CVRs, budgets, cashflow forecasts and tender documentation
Monitor project costs, variations and change control
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project delivery teams
Procure subcontractors and manage valuations/payments
Attend site meetings and support project delivery
Lead and manage direct reports within the commercial team
Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
