As a Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Leading the commercial input into bids and proposals to develop a suitable risk and reward balance
Leading contract negotiations with customers and key partners
Providing a contract management service, ensuring performance aligns with contractual requirements
Identifying and reporting key obligations, liabilities and risks to the business
Applying company policies and procedures throughout the bid, negotiation and contract lifecycle
Maintaining contractual records, correspondence and key decision documentation
As a Commercial Manager, your experience will include:

A significant record of commercial management, ideally within the defence sector, across UK and/or export markets
Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including terms and conditions, NDAs, MoUs, teaming and licence agreements
Structuring, managing and closing complex negotiations
A strong understanding of contract law and compliance and regulatory frameworks
A relevant degree, and ideally membership of a professional body such as IACCM or WC&C, would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex commercial issues
