Their success is underpinned by a motivated workforce supported by an experienced senior team of industry professionals.   The role As Commercial Manager, you will: ·Lead the commercial function across multiple civil engineering and utilities projects ·Manage contracts (with a focus on NEC) and ensure full compliance with contractual and commercial obligations ·Prepare, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial performance ·Negotiate and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders ·Provide expert commercial advice and support to project teams to maximise value and efficiency ·Identify risks, opportunities, and innovative approaches to add value ·Mentor and support junior staff within the commercial function   What's required To be considered for this Commercial Manager position, you should have: ·At least 5 years' experience in a commercial management role within civil engineering or utilities ·Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts ·Excellent financial, analytical, and negotiation skills ·A collaborative, team-oriented approach ·Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships   Salary and benefits In return, you will receive: ·A salary of up to £75,000 (depending on experience) ·Hybrid working opportunities (Cambridge-based role with flexibility) ·Career development and progression prospects ·A supportive working culture with a strong focus on employee wellbeing ·The opportunity to make a real impact within a growing organisation   Location and working pattern The position is based in Cambridge, with potential for hybrid working to give you a balance of office presence and flexibility.   FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
