Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our team, carrying out service, maintenance, and installation works across a range of commercial plumbing and hot water systems. The role will primarily involve non-gas-related installations and repairs, including unvented cylinders, heating systems, valves, and pumps.
The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You’ll also support other teams and projects, with opportunities to expand your knowledge and skill set.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing and hot water systems.
* Installation and replacement of unvented cylinders, heating components, valves, and pumps.
* Carrying out small plumbing works as required.
* Fault-finding and diagnosing system issues efficiently.
* Supporting other engineers on wider building services projects when needed.
* Ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* NVQ qualification (or equivalent) in Plumbing (essential).
* Good knowledge of commercial plumbing and hot water systems.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
* DBS check (required – can be arranged on start date).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
