Your new firm
Our client is a specialist law firm based in Devon, dedicated to supporting education providers nationwide. They are currently seeking a recently qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious and purpose-driven firm, contributing to its development in line with a clear and values-led strategic vision.
Your new role
We're offering a great opportunity for a Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a growing and forward-thinking law firm. This is a fee-earning role and involves supporting a range of Commercial Property matters. You'll work closely with a collaborative team, running a caseload of your own files, reviewing titles, drafting documents, and liaising with clients. The firm places strong emphasis on training, career development, and delivering high-quality service, with scope to take on more responsibility as you progress.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need relevant legal qualifications and practical experience in property law - ideally with Commercial Property experience, though experience in Residential Property would be considered. Experience of supporting clients in the Education sector would be a distinct advantage.
To thrive in this role, you should be confident managing your own caseload where appropriate, opening case files, and providing cost estimates to new clients. You'll be expected to conduct title reviews, draft and negotiate leases and transfers, and accurately record time in line with firm policy. A solid grasp of property processes and legal documentation is key, alongside a proactive, adaptable mindset that reflects the firm's values and commitment to high-quality client service.
What you'll get in return
This is a meaningful opportunity to join a growing property team within a values-led firm that specialises in supporting the education sector. With a strong social purpose at its core, the firm offers a chance to contribute to work that makes a genuine impact on schools and communities.
You'll enjoy a healthy work-life balance, a supportive environment, and flexible working arrangements - ideal for full or part-time Property Lawyers based in the Southwest or considering a move to the region.
