Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

Gloucester & Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime

A well-established refrigeration contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join its growing engineering team covering Gloucester and the surrounding areas.

This is a varied mobile role, working across a portfolio of hotels and convenience stores throughout Gloucester and the surrounding region. You'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding and reactive repairs on a range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Typical equipment includes: 

Cold rooms

Bottle coolers

Ice machines

Under-counter refrigeration

Integral and remote commercial refrigeration systems

Split air conditioning systems

Multi-split air conditioning systems

VRV/VRF air conditioning systems

The role is primarily focused on commercial refrigeration, with additional work on commercial air conditioning systems. Engineers with experience across both refrigeration and air conditioning will be well suited to the position.

What You'll Need

NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

F-Gas (C&G 2079 or equivalent)

Completed apprenticeship or recognised refrigeration training programme

Experience servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment

Full UK Driving Licence

42.5-hour working week
