They are looking to strengthen their sales within engineering and are seeking a dynamic and innovative Commercial Sales Engineering Manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join our team.
This role combines technical expertise with strategic business acumen to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer solutions. As a key leader, you will collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure our solutions meet and exceed customer expectations in the competitive market landscape.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
Lead and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Technical Expertise:
Provide technical leadership and support throughout the sales process.
Present design simulation, layouts, concepts and lead technical consultations to prospects and clients.
Customer Engagement:
Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions that leverage our companies’
Market Insight:
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams including application engineering and product development.
Collaborate on product enhancements, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
Training and Development:
You will initially work alongside the current sales team to understand the collaborative sales approach and relationships with key accounts ensuring a smooth transition and deep understanding of our core values.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or related roles within the advanced engineering and technology sector.
Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
