We're recruiting for an experienced Commercial Surge Protection Electrician to join a leading specialist in safety, compliance and protection systems. You'll oversee inspection, testing and maintenance activities across a varied client base, ensuring lightning protection systems are compliant, safe and maintained to the highest standards while supporting and developing engineers in the field.

The role is home-based and can be located anywhere in the UK, ideally within easy reach of a major city due to customer demand. You will be responsible for travelling to customer sites nationwide, with an average of 2 nights away per week required.

Requirements

Previous experience working with lightning protection systems is essential.
Qualified Electrician
Experience working on Surge Protection Devices
Experience in a supervisory, senior engineer or team leader role is advantageous.
Knowledge of lightning protection testing, inspection and relevant standards.
Full UK driving licence.
Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
Comfortable travelling nationwide and staying away when required.Package

50-55K Basic Salary
Overtime available (paid door-to-door after 40 hours).
37.5-hour week: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm finish Friday.
20 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with service to 28 days + bank holidays.
Private healthcare.
Company van.
£25 overnight food allowance.
