Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician (Level 3) to join our Transport Services team at Oakleigh Depot. In this key role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a diverse fleet of council vehicles and plant, including electric and hybrid vehicles. You will support the Workshop Manager in ensuring legal compliance, roadworthiness, and cost-effective servicing in line with VOSA and manufacturer standards.
As part of our in-house MOT testing team (Class 4, 5 & 7), you'll also play a vital role in maintaining our operator licence requirements and contributing to service performance targets. You’ll work within a split-shift rota (06:00–21:30) and provide occasional out-of-hours standby support.
