Job Description

Are you an experienced Senior Commercial Lead looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have a background in HV Power systems, preferably on major railway projects?   Location: Central London (minimum 3 days per week in office/site) Salary: Dependant on experience Projects: High-value Rail Power sector projects.   Job Description: This is a Commercial Lead role reporting into the Board of Directors, where you will be accountable for commercial performance across multiple projects within your sector. You'll lead and mentor commercial teams, manage complex contract negotiations, and drive best practices in cost control, claims, and risk management across some of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects.   Working on Power systems across HS2, you will preferably come from a background of HV systems on the railway sector, but would be considered if you had experience working on other HV projects at a Senior Commercial Lead level.   Requirements: ·Strong experience on FIDIC or NEC3/NEC4 and contracts ·Experience such as HS2 Power Systems and HV works. ·Contract negotiation and dispute resolution experience ·Proven track record managing commercial performance across large, multi-disciplinary teams ·Ability to lead and influence at board level ·Commercial reporting, cash flow and forecasting expertise   Key Responsibilities: ·Lead commercial strategy and execution for your project sector ·Ensure financial performance meets margin, revenue and cashflow targets ·Actively manage upstream and downstream contracts ·Support the procurement process, ensuring best value and risk mitigation ·Oversee variation, claims and delay management. ·Drive monthly reporting and financial reviews ·Lead by example-mentor and develop your teams while holding them accountable ·Maintain and build strong client relationships across the sector   Next Steps ·Interviews will be conducted in 2 stages: 1st via Teams, 2nd in-person ·Target start date: ASAP, but can wait up to 3 months for the right person
