Roc Search's client is looking to add a Commissioning and Development Engineer to their growing team based in Leicester. The role is fully on site, with some travel to client sites and the possibility of abroad travel every now and then. The role is as follows -
The role -
To develop and commission machines and machine control systems
Commissioning of machine control systems and development of machine processes, machine performance testing, FAT & SAT testing
Responsible for machine functionality
Responsible for testing to ensure machine electrical systems and safety systems comply with all relevant European and international standards
Operator training of machines both in house and at customer site
Provide customer support, including visits to customer sites throughout the UK and to assist with the installation, commisiong and troubleshooting when requiredRequirements -
5+ years experience within an Automation systems or Machinery environment
PLC coding/troubleshooting experience with one or more of the following: Omron, Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi or similar.
Understanding of Pneumatic circuits
Experience of interfacing to Injection Moulding Machines would be an advantage, but not essential.Benefits -
