Commissioning Electrical Installation Engineer - Field Based
Are you an experienced electrical installation engineer with hands-on commissioning experience? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading industrial automation business delivering control panel and VSD/inverters to the water industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems on new and retrofit projects.
* Carrying out panel modifications, electrical terminations, and system integration work.
* Installing and testing electrical containment, cabling, and control systems to high standards of safety and quality.
* Supporting onsite commissioning activities, including loop checks, I/O testing, and fault finding.
* Collaborating closely with control engineers and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in industrial electrical installation and commissioning.
* Strong understanding of VSDs, control panels, and automation systems.
* Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / 18th Edition).
* A proactive, safety-conscious attitude and willingness to travel to customer sites.
