Job Purpose: To carry out all aspects commissioning equipment and customer sites worldwide.  To conduct maintenance of associated facilities and equipment to ensure the accurate delivery of the Commissioning process to the highest standards. To assist with pre commissioning activities in testing of the equipment as required prior to delivery to site. What you will do: Oversee the commissioning process for turbine-powered generator sets, ensuring they meet operational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Provide technical support and guidance on the installation and operation of gas turbines. Conduct performance tests and validate the reliability and efficiency of systems. Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to continuously improve processes and services. What You Will Bring: Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in the aerospace or industrial gas turbine sector. Strong understanding of gas turbine technology and generator set operations. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Exceptional communication and documentation skills. Qualifications & Skills: Multi-disciplined qualified engineer, HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to understand technical electrical and mechanical drawings Excellent fault-finding skills on both electrical and mechanical equipment. PLC control code understanding and development experience (Allen Bradley RS Logix is preferred) SCADA understanding and development experience (Wonderware preferred) Generator protection knowledge and experience Company Contribution & Industry Information: This role is situated within a privately-owned company that stands at the forefront of industrial gas turbine industry.
