Job Description

Commissioning Engineer Salary approx. £39,500 per annum UK Wide Travel Required We are looking for a self-motivated and customer-focused Commissioning Engineer for our award-winning client based in Nottinghamshire. This business has an outstanding reputation for providing bespoke sustainable solutions to customers UK wide. You will be working in a specialist field, and training will be fully supported. THE ROLE As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality commissioning service for all newly installed products, as well as: * Providing installation services for full new systems and upgrades for control panels * Read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams * Attending pre-installation visits to offer advice and guidance * Being involved in the planning process and attending handover meetings as required * Replacing bulbs, pressure vessels, junction boxes and electrical rotary isolators * Fault finding, pump programming and pipework upgrades * Knowing how to build standard, singlex and combi control panels so that you have a deeper understanding of their operation * Abiding by the RAMS provided and general health and safety requirements on site THE CANDIDATE The ideal Commissioning Engineer will require the following skills: * Level 3 Electrical Qualification as a minimum * Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft packages * Understanding of Health & Safety at a work * Eagerness for training and be happy to work towards CSCS, working at heights and working in confined spaces qualifications, if not already achieved * Flexibility to travel around the UK and stay away from home up to 3 nights a week with hotels and food budget * Full UK Driving Licence * Personable and friendly THE BENEFITS As a valued Commissioning Engineer, you will receive the following benefits: * Fully stocked Company van, laptop, phone, credit and fuel cards * Accommodation and daily food budget * Company pension scheme * A guarantee of a minimum of 40 hours per week.
