Pay Rate: £500-£550/day (flexible depending on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a major wastewater treatment project at Mogden WwTW. This role offers long-term security on a flagship site, with the potential to run through to 2029. You will play a critical role in commissioning complex mechanical and electrical assets within a regulated environment, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commissioning of assets and systems associated with WwTW projects.
Oversee and execute commissioning plans, testing, and verification activities.
Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth handover.
Ensure compliance with DSEAR regulations, health & safety, and industry standards.
Produce detailed documentation, reports, and certification of completed systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven track record as a Commissioning Engineer in the water sector.
Hands-on commissioning experience of assets associated with WwTW plants.
Tier 1 contractor experience strongly preferred.
Experience working within DSEAR-regulated environments (desirable).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
