Commissioning Engineer – Marine Technology

What you’ll be doing:
Getting involved in the testing and integration of autonomous marine vessels
Powering up systems, calibrating sensors, and configuring communications
Troubleshooting commissioning issues and feeding ideas back into product improvements
Working closely with project teams and supporting customer handovers
Playing a key role in Factory, Harbour, and Sea Acceptance Testing (FAT, HAT & SAT)What we’re looking for: You’ll need a solid engineering background—marine, defence, robotics or similar—and the drive to get stuck into technical challenges.
Essential:
HNC in technology, engineering, or science (or equivalent experience)
Background in the marine industry
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communicator, confident working across different teamsNice to have:
HND/Degree in a technical discipline
Knowledge of comms protocols (analogue/digital I/O, RS232/422/485, CANbus)
Hands-on experience with autonomous systems
Forklift licence
