You will deliver commissioning activities effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and functional safety requirements for bespoke machinery. The ability to write FDS from scratch is essential as is a hunger to deliver high tech machinery to client specifications.
Commissioning Engineer - The Role:
Creation of project-commissioning strategy, reviews and ensures its implementation.
Provide support to tendering activities & support project management
Ensure adherence to safety standards
Interpretation of Functional and Safety Functional Requirements
Compile Test, Installation and Commissioning Quality Plan
Implementation of UK and European H&S legislation and appropriate standards
Liaison with Engineering Design, Procurement and Manufacturing personnel
Commissioning Engineer - The Person:
HNC Qualified or equivalent
Ideally conversant with British and European Technical Legislative standards
Essential conscientious approach with attention to detail within a challenging role
You MUST have proven experience working on Nuclear sites. This role will entail UK wide travel where you may be away from home Monday - Friday. There is also the opportunity for EU travel where you may be away 3-4 weeks. Usually home at weekends.
Role commutable from Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Telford, Dudley & Walsall
