Job Description

Client: My client is one of the UK's leading independent building services companies that specialises in several sectors including commercial, education, data centres, healthcare and retail. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business has an annual turnover in excess of £250M, operating nationwide. Role: Senior Commissioning Manager (Mechanical Bias) – £85,000 - £100,000

The successful candidate will be working on a major pharmaceutical development in Surrey. A £300m new build plus refurbishment 

Role/Responsibilities: 

·      To manage, lead and coordinate projects in all matters relating to Commissioning Management and Validation for mechanical, public health, BEMS and controls and all building engineering specialist engineering services.

·      To manage, lead and coordinate all matters relating to those specific sites from Commissioning Management and Validation perspective.

·      To manage the Commissioning Management and Validation Services as required by the Business Assurance Scheme (QA)

·      To be responsible for all aspects of site safety for yourself and others including risk assessment, method statements.

The ideal candidate:

·      Will be computer literate, happy to interact with client and get stuck in on site

·      Experience working in the commercial or data centre sector

·      Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, ISg, Mace, Wates, etc.

·      Have the right forward thinking attitude
