Job Description
Commissioning Manager Lead - Exciting Industrial Project - Hull*
We are working with a well respected contractor who are a leading specialist process and mechanical engineering contractor, who have decades of experience delivering high-performing construction solutions to some of the world’s fastest growing industries and clients.
Joining from an early stage of the scheme, you will work with the senior leadership team, and all relevant external stakeholders to develop and implement a robust and proactive commissioning programme across the campus.
You will have a direct team of commissioning engineers as well as multiple subcontractors and client representatives who you will work with.
Provide strategic and tactical building services commissioning management support for the engineering process of a project from conception to completion
• As an expert, provide guidance and direction to the team to ensure operational excellence
• Be able to interrogate Engineering Schedule, Verification & Validation requirements etc.
• Manage the commission process with the verification and operation of electrical plant and equipment. This includes liaising with specialist sub-contractors and package managers to follow the specific commissioning process from Level 1 to Level 5
• Review and input the commissioning procedures and commissioning activities
• Monitor and advise when all commissioning documentation has been reviewed and signed off
• Compiling and preparing of commissioning test documentation
• Ensure that work is carried out in full conformance with quality environmental and safety requirements
• Chair site commissioning meetings
• Provide information for Progress Reports
• Assist the Project Manager to prepare an inspection and test plans for each element of the works
