Job Description

Commissioning Manager / Lead - Data Centre Construction Location: Madrid, Spain We're working with a market leading General contractor who are seeking an experience Commissioning Manager to join a Hyperscale Data Centre projects in Spain Reporting to the Project Manager, the Commissioning Manager will communicate project progress to key stakeholders, such as the client, architects and engineers. In addition, the Commissioning Manager will supervising and coordinating commissioning activities at a job site including that of its sub-contractors and direct labour. Your responsibilities will include: Develop commissioning plans and schedules in coordination with project management, engineering, and construction teams. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all commissioning related documentation, including procedures, checklists, and reports. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials necessary for commissioning activities. Lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure the successful completion of commissioning activities. Implement quality control measures to ensure that commissioning activities meet project specifications and guideline. Identify and mitigate risks associated with commissioning activities, such as schedule delays and technical issues. Oversee the execution of functional testing, performance testing and validation to ensure functionality of systems and equipment. Skills and Requirements Degree or Trade qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline. Commissioning certification would be desirable. Excellent IT Skills in MS Office Suite and BIM 360 would be an advantage 2 years' experience in a similar role at management level Detailed knowledge of the Mechanical and Electrical industry standards, codes, and regulations. Knowledge of various testing procedures, methodologies, and tools used in the commissioning process. INDEU
