Commissioning Nursing Home Manager - £60k - Colwyn Bay Location: Colwyn Bay Salary: £60,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday Are you a compassionate and experienced Nurse Manager looking to lead in the field of mental health? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Nurse Manager at our mental health service in Colwyn Bay. Our mixed unit is dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care to individuals seeking support for mental health disorders. We offer a safe and therapeutic environment where patients can receive the treatment and care they need to facilitate their recovery journey. As the Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the highest standards of care while fostering a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership: Provide expert clinical guidance and support to the nursing team, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to our service users. Staff Management: Manage and develop a team of nurses and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and quality assurance processes to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment. Care Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for service users, focusing on holistic mental health care. Budget Management: Manage budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently while maintaining the highest level of care. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of our service users, promoting a patient-centered approach to care. Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with an active NMC registration. Significant experience in mental health nursing, including a strong background in mental health assessment and care planning. Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both staff and service users. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
