I am working with a fantastic organisation based in the Leeds area who are looking to bring a new Commissions Operations Manager into the team and oversee a team of 3.
The ideal individual will have a strong operational background in either Accounts Payable or a Billing environment, they will have strong communication skills (internally and externally) and a proven record in team management / leading a team.
The main responsibilities are listed below:

Management of TPI (third party intermediaries) Invoice Validation team (3), taking ownership of the monthly payment cycle and process improvements
*
Accurate and timely invoice validation and payment to TPIs
*
Resolution of TPI queries in a timely manner
*
Continuous improvements to current processes
*
Management of self-billing invoice system
*
Ownership of self-bill invoices raised in line with monthly payment cycle
*
Maintaining and improving existing processes to ensure systems are used efficiently and increase robustness of the system and processes
*
Managing Risk
*
Supporting with the recovery of exposed TPIs
*
High quality reporting and business partnering to allow the business to make informed decisions
*
Accounting for the TPI Position
*
Understand and maintain the TPI Balance Sheet and Provision Models
*
Update, investigate and report on monthly variances
*
Effective management of the team
*
Support with budgeting profit and cash movements for the annual budget process
*
Support the audit process by providing timely and accurate data and/or analysis
*
To work with the wider business to improve integrity of data and reporting
*
Continuous improvement to reports and processes in the TPI area
*
Support and leadership on IT solutions to support TPI billing / reporting
We would be keen to hear from individual the following skills and experience:

Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential
*
Proven ability to successfully lead, inspire and manage others.
*
Able to report complex financial information/performance to a wide-ranging audience.
*
Proven ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines, be organised, methodical, and be receptive to change.
*
Strong data analytical skills.
*
Excellent process delivery/improvement skills.
*
The role requires computer literacy with Excel and Microsoft Office.
*
Effective communication with Finance and non-Finance teams.
