Salary: £20,947 – £22,577 per annum (equivalent to £24,107 – £25,983 full-year)

The Role
As a Communication Support Worker, you will:
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support Deaf learners across a range of vocational areas.
Facilitate access to the curriculum and promote students’ independence, confidence, and inclusion.
Use your initiative and empathy to respond sensitively to learner needs.
Support the college’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive learning.

We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language (Signature, CACDP, SEG, or Scottish equivalent).
Ideally holds a formal Communication Support Worker qualification.
Has GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
Has experience working with individuals with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Is adaptable, empathetic, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.Why Join Us?
