Communications Account Manager – £31.71 per hour (Umbrella) – North London / Hybrid
A North London Local Authority is seeking an Interim Communications Account Manager with a strong press office background.
Key Duties:
* Lead communications within a defined portfolio, working closely with senior officers and elected members.
* Deliver integrated campaigns that support corporate objectives.
* Draft and edit press releases, manage media relations and crisis communications.
* Deputise for the Media & Campaigns Manager when required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in journalism, PR or communications.
* Strong media handling, editorial and campaign delivery skills.
* Knowledge of local government communications and working in a political environment.
